I don't really have my resume on my web page. I think that's a really tacky thing to do.

A tip for the web-savvy job-seeker

Your future boss is not poking around on google looking for you. Print your resume out, attach a cover letter that at least gives the impression you are actively seeking work, and mail it to someone you would honestly consider working for. If you really want to impress them, follow up your mailing with a phone call.
