Here's a reference chart for a runic alphabet. I gathered the characters shown here from various sources including the appendices of Tolkien's books and some others. The characters differ from one source to another, and their use is apparently a matter of personal taste.
If more than one character is shown for a given letter, use one or the other, but not both.
If you know of characters that I have not shown here, or alternative forms for characters not shown, please email me and I will add the new ones to this chart.
