Dan Barlow's Webpage

This shield implements a 32768 byte Static Random Access Memory mapped into the upper half of the address space.

The contents of the memory are used by a CRT controller as character identifiers.

The selected character is looked up in a second memory and displayed.

Start of page is stored in a register to support smooth vertical scrolling.

Arbitrary character glyphs can be programmed.

Arduino sketches can use the extra memory with minor additional code.

An example sketch is provided that shows how to use and test the memory.
